JOB PURPOSE
The Local Economic Development (LED) Officer is responsible for coordinating LED initiatives aligned to the economic development priorities of Kingston & St. Andrew.

Summary of Duties:
Under the general direction of the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation through the City Inspector, the incumbent will be responsible for enforcing the respective regulations, policies and rules governing the operations of the Corporation.  

Under the general direction of the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation through the Market Manager (or his/her nominee), the Market Clerk shall collect market fees and report collection of same to the Market Manager.

The incumbent is responsible for resolving the property tax delinquency cases. This involve collecting delinquent taxes and securing voluntary compliance with the Tax Laws and Regulations.

It is preferred that the applicant owns and operates a reliable motor vehicle.
