Qualifications/Experience:
Diploma in Management Studies/Supervisor Management with a minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisor position.
OR
A minimum of five (5) CXC subjects inclusive of Mathematics/Accounts and English with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience at a supervisor level.
Training in security would be an asset
The post will be a contractual one under the supervision of the Commercial Services Manager. The incumbent will have responsibility for the day to day management and supervision of the market by:
Summary of Duties:
Arrange for the market to be opened and closed as specified in the regulations
Keep current records i.e. attendance register, ticket books and inventory relating to the market operation.
Ensure that market conditions are adequate for operation and the facilities are properly maintained.
Ensure that fees are collected and accounted for; checked and reconciled market clerks record with cashiers’.
Provide general and detailed directives to all workers and exercise control in the discharge of their duties.
