CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION AND RISK REDUCTION TECHNOLOGY AND STRATEGIES TO IMPROVE COMMUNITY RESILENCE PROJECT
CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN OF A COMMUNITY FLOOD EARLY WARNING SYSTEM FOR SAVANNA LA MAR, WESTMORELAND, JAMAICA
The Government of Jamaica through the Westmoreland Municipal Corporation ( WMC) has received financing from the Community Disaster Risk Reduction Fund (CDRRF) which is managed by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) towards the cost of Implementing the Climate Change Adaptation and Risk Reduction Technology and Strategies to Improve Community Resilience (CARTS) Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under a contract for which this invitation is issued.
The Westmoreland Municipal Corporation now wishes to procure consultancy services for “The Design of Community Flood Early Warning System".
All information must be submitted in English. Further information may be obtained from the first address below between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm hours Jamaica time Monday to Friday. A hard copy of the Expression of Interest must be submitted to the first address below and an electronic copy must be emailed to the second address below, no later than 4:00 pm Wednesday, August 14, 2019, now extended to August 21, 2019 at 4: 00pm. The submission must include the name and address of the applicant and the subject line shall be clearly marked “Expression of Interest – Consultancy Services for “The Design of Community Flood Early Warning System”
